We would like to introduce you to the history of the house, to show you what a magical place and house with a long history you will spend a magical vacation with your family, partner, parents or friends.
The buliding originally called the Balaton Hotel, was handed over in 1905. Later is was also called the Palota Szálló (Palace Hotel), after the Second World War it was used for organized vacations first as the Worker's Resort of the Szabadság Lapkiadó Vállalat, then as the Szabadság Resort. In 1936 Dr.Fabinyi Imréné was the owner of the Panzió, at that time it was called Fabinyi Panzió.
It was during this time that the Bathing Association was founded, thanks to which we have our current building. The construction of numerous resorts, villa buildings and guesthouses, as well as the development of the resort area, continued between the two world wars. At that time, among other things, the boat harbor was built, and the construction of the electricity and water networks of the settlement began. The hotel continued to provide the employees of the Telephone Factory with vacation opportunities for many years after that. At that time, the hotel consisted of buildings "A" and "C", to which the passage was built only in 1973. A dining room stood in the place of the passage
After Siemens bought the Telephone Factory (Telefongyár), the resort also underwent major changes. First, the old resort management was followed by the Délföldi-Marik era, and then the entire resort came into the possession of a local entrepreneur. The resort continued to operate under the name Hotel Lidó.
In 2018, the transformation of the hotel began and in 2020 it gained its current state, which makes room for the Balatonlelle Gyöngye Apartment.

Saint Stephen's Square
When visiting Balatonlelle, it is inevitable that you do not visit Saint Stephen's Square and the pedestrian street connected to it, where thousands of people gather in the evenings. The Moló promenade, lined with sycamore trees, starts from this square, along which you can walk all the way to the Balaton beach. The Balatonlelle Gyöngye Apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of this wonderful square.
Rádpuszta Gastronomy Estate
This estate with fantastic environmental features is located 3 km from Balatonlelle, where, in addition to the wonderful thatched restaurant, there is also a 180-year-old wine cellar and stables.
Szalay-Castle
The ground-floor mansion was built in 1838 in classicist style with a tympanum with the family's coat of arms. The African Museum here presents the collection of famous African hunting trophies of Count Somssich Pongrácz
Little Hill (Kishegy)
Kishegy is also 3 km from Balatonlelle, which is also part of the Southern Balaton wine route. Here you can find the Garamvár vineyard, Pócz and Konyári cellar, Hegyi Csárda, and the St. Donát chapel on the roof.
Balatonlelle Eye
The new attraction of Balatonlelle is the 30-meter-high Ferris wheel, from the top of which the view of Lake Balaton is impressive, especially at sunset. Relaxation in Balatonlelle
Free beach
Balatonlelle is one of the few places that has a huge stretch of beach, so it serves as a place for the Balatonlelle West Free Beach, which starts in the center of Lelle, on the west side of the boat station, and extends 1.6 km to the western border of the city. Buffets, changing rooms, washrooms and other services can also be found on the beach. There is a giant slide on the side of the harbor, and along the coast there are pedal boats, beach kayaks and SUP rentals every 3-400 meters.

Balatonlelle will not disappoint lovers of the sandy beach and families with small children either, as the Sunshine beach is located on the eastern side of the marina, which offers a number of extra services for an entrance fee, such as a football and volleyball court for active recreation, pedalos, child-friendly services (children's slide, playground, diaper changer), disabled services, as well as cabin rental and safekeeping, purchase of beach equipment, Wi-Fi, sunbed and umbrella rental.
